Traditionally, we have used participation packets in order to receive the required paperwork for participation in athletics at Kennedy High School.  We are moving to a digital platform.  We will not be collecting or distributing packets any further.  All students will be required to upload their information into our new platform, Home Campus.  I have included instructions on how to sign up for sports.  Moving forward, this will be the only avenue for students to sign up.  All students who want to participate this year in the following sports must have their information uploaded and approved prior to March 1, 2021:

Athletic Department Mission

It is the John F. Kennedy Athletic Department’s mission to be determined to instill strong academic values in all of our student athletes while providing a safe and challenging athletic experience.  We understand the diversity in schools, and will ensure that student-athletes develop not only internally as a better citizen, but also externally by developing the required athletic skills for team and personal success.

John F. Kennedy High School athletics compete within the Mission Valley Athletic League (MVAL) which is a part of the North Coast Section(NCS). All students participating in school sports must meet GPA requirements (see eligibility). Our school has been achieving amazing accomplishments in the past couple of years.  In 2018-2019 school year, 10 of our sports programs qualified for North Coast Section Playoffs.  Our badminton program won 1st place in NCS Division 2.  We had student athletes compete in the state finals for track.  We also sent 7 student- athletes on to play at the next level in college.
