FUSD Parents/Guardians,

FUSD is seeking your input regarding our current Distance Learning Program and your thoughts on a potential return to in-person instruction.

As Alameda County has entered the orange tier, planning for a return to in-person learning (hybrid) is in process. Please know that any in-person learning will begin with a hybrid model for instruction. Due to health and safety protocols such as physical distancing, classes will need to be divided into smaller groups, and those groups will need to be in a rotation of on-campus and off-campus learning.

As part of our process for designing comprehensive reopening plans, we are gathering input from our community. This information will help inform our planning and the survey results will be shared publicly, as part of our reopening plans. No decision has been made at this time about when FUSD will return to in-person instruction. Please note that “Hybrid Learning” is defined as students learning part of their time in person at school and part of their time doing distance learning. As you review the questions please know that any return to in-person instruction must comply with all state and local guidelines related to Personal Protective Equipment, Safety Protocols, and appropriate preventative steps related to reducing the spread of COVID-19.

Your responses are only intended to help with planning and are not a vote for one thing over another. We understand that feelings and perspectives change over time, especially with changes in the community spread of COVID-19. Please click one of the links below to access the survey. Thank you for your time.
